Coronavirus Preparedness Plan

 

After reviewing Bucks County Department of Health, Middletown Township Parks and Recreation Guidelines, along with additional CDC information, we ask that you please adhere to the following:

  • If a player or a member of their immediate family is exposed to or tested positive for the Coronavirus, please alert your child’s coaches, the MAA President and the leader of your sport immediately. Please check the MAA Board of Directors page for specific contact information.

  • Players must stay home from practices and games if they;

    • Test Positive for Covid-19 or test results pending OR

    • Have been in Close Contact with an individual who has tested positive for Covid -19 in the past 14 days OR

    • Have a fever (100.4 or higher) OR

      • We expect parents to take temperatures prior to arriving to our complex

    • Have a persistent cough OR

    • Are frequently sneezing and/or have a runny nose.

  • Individuals (player, coach, spectator) may not return to practices or games for:

    • 10 days after a positive COVID-19 Test result

    • 14 day without testing with symptoms or a close contact exposure

    • 14 days with after close contact exposure

    • 2 days after last symptoms and a negative COVID-19 test result or a note Physician.

  • Parents, family members and other spectators that are ill should not attend practices or games.

  • Please limit the amount of family members coming to practices and games as much as possible.

  • All coaches, parents, spectators and players must wear masks after leaving their vehicle and approaching the fields and during practice and games.

  • UPDATE as of May 28, 2021: Players are NOT required to wear masks when actively engaged in practice or game.

  • There will be no pre or post game handshakes, high fives, etc.

  • Team pinnies will be washed after every use.

  • Water bottles are not to be shared.

  • It is highly recommended that Parents/Players clean and disinfect their equipment after a practice or game. For disinfection, diluted household bleach solutions, alcohol solutions with at least 70% alcohol, and most common EPA-registered household disinfectants should be effective.
