Camps in 4 different categories running for 1 and ½ hour a session for three sessions. Sessions available to In-house and Travel players at 3 different age groups, 7-9 years, 10-12 years, and 13-15 years. Each session limited to 12 – 15 players. In addition to our athletic training we are adding age-appropriate techniques in relaxation, visualization and positive self-talk. This is an important aspect of the game. When players can bring themselves under control, they are much better prepared to play. CAMPS AVAILABLE HITTING: Sessions will cover balance, load & stride, grip, proper swing path, lower half delivery, extension & follow through, tracking the ball, strike zone discipline, bunting, ‘situational’ hitting, and mental approach. We’ll help you achieve the confidence & visualization you need to be successful.
ages 7,8,9 – Sundays, NOVEMBER 11, 18, 25 4:00-5:30.

PITCHING: It’s not just about your arm. Learn to pitch with your whole body. Strengthening exercises, deceleration drills and leg explosion will be stressed in each session. Velocity, changing speeds with same arm action, and the mental aspects of pitching will be will be developed in each pitching candidate along with the proper way to take care of that arm..
ages 13, 14, 15 – Sundays 2:00-3:30, DECEMBER 23, 30, JANUARY 6.
FIELDING & THROWING: The session will cover balance, coordination development, fielding and throwing footwork, charge plays, backhand plays and one hop picks. Turning the double play – fielding and feeding – receiving and relaying - will be stressed along with proper throwing mechanics from every position.
CATCHING: The session will cover balanced/athletic stances, proper receiving techniques and setting up. We teach the quickest way to make the transfer, throwing footwork and options, blocking the ball recovering loose balls, fielding all types of bunts, tag plays vs. force plays – specific footwork, turning double play – home to first. Plus your catcher will learn proper throwing, how to build arm strength, how to communicate with the pitcher, how to build that catcher/umpire relationship.
Camps will be held at CK Performance, (formerly SE-PA Knights)1360 Adams Road, Bensalem, PA. If there is interest in a camp not listed, let us know, and we’ll try to arrange one. We’ll also hold team camps for in-house and travel teams, as well as practices outdoors, weather permitting. The cost for each 3 session camp is $80.00 per player/parent. Ron Kaplan: 7 years of experience as Pennsbury High School’s varsity hitting and catching coach. 6 years as Head coach of Mercer/Bucks Angels summer college team with appearances in the World Series 2005 & 2006. Over the last 12 years, Ron has coached American Legion Falls Post #834, and Lower Southampton Post #436. Currently, Ron serves as assistant coach with New Hope-Solebury High School, Knights / Philly Bandits. Ron has been developing baseball camps and instructional clinics for all ages since 1997. Tony Vlahovic: Former Boston Red Sox pitcher and Rookie of the Year for the European Bologna Team. He is the current Head Varsity Baseball Coach for New Hope-Solebury high school. In addition to his vast baseball knowledge, Coach Vlahovic holds a Master’s Degree in Psychology and is a certified Sports Counselor and a Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He provides proven visualization/confidence boosting exercises along with a complete strength and conditioning program for your players.
